Defect Description
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain Ford Bronco Sport Hood Scoops with part number VM1PZ-16C630-A, that were sold as accessory parts for 2021-2024 Bronco Sport vehicles. The hood scoop may detach from the vehicle.
Consequence / Hazard
A hood scoop that detaches while driving can damage the windshield or become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Proposed Solution
Ford will provide a refund for the Sport Hood Scoops. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S25.
