Defect Description
Great Dane Trailers (Great Dane) is recalling certain 2026 Champion dry van trailers. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.
Consequence / Hazard
A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
Proposed Solution
Great Dane will work with Hiab to inspect and replace the deck pins and bushing kits as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 10, 2026. Owners may contact Great Dane's customer service at 1-877-369-3493.
